![]() The clamp at least works well and holds both my 8-inch and 11-inch tablets in place, even if I turn it upsidedown. ![]() You can literally see the seams where the clamp has been fixed to each joystick at the back, and it's easy to envisage how it could snap without proper care. The biggest concern I have with the Ipega set up is the cheap plastic the firm has used on the clamp. The app isn't the best, though, and can be difficult to use. In mobile games like Fortnite, PUBG, or Call of Duty Mobile, ditching touch for real controls can give you a big advantage. The app lets you designate areas of the screen to different button presses for games that don't allow direct controller usage. I am reviewing this primarily in the context of using it for Xbox Game Pass, but you can use it for any Android game, especially if you pair the controller with an app as described in the instructions. What you might dislike about the Ipega Android Controller Overall, though, the Ipega game controller works well and does what it says on the tin. At that point, you might as well just plug in a regular Xbox controller or use something like the Razer Kishi instead. You have the option to connect it via USB-C, but you have to sacrifice the docking portion to use it, which is a shame. ![]() The downside of Bluetooth is that it introduces additional latency on top of the latency from Xbox Game Pass cloud streaming, which can make action games feel a bit sluggish when it comes to responsiveness. If you have smaller hands, you may struggle to get to grips (lol) with this controller because of this. The mirror stick positions are a tad hard to get used to if you're accustomed to off-set sticks, and the triggers and shoulder buttons are spaced out quite broadly. In use, the Ipega controller is nowhere near as good as a legitimate Xbox controller from Microsoft, but it's close enough to be unnoticeable after you get used to it.
